WHERE WE STARTED

Our journey in construction began early, shaped by the family values and hard work we witnessed growing up. Raised in Coonamble, rural NSW, we spent our weekends and holidays on job sites with our dad, who founded L. Crawford Constructions in 1996.

Whether we were working as laborers or just absorbing the atmosphere, those early days taught us that construction is much more than bricks and mortar—it’s about creating luxury homes, solving problems, and fostering connections.

As we grew, so did our passion and understanding of the industry. Dom went on to earn a doctorate in Construction Management from Canberra University and gained valuable experience with one of Canberra's leading high-end builders, helping it become one of the largest builders in the Australian Capital Territory.

Joe, after graduating with Class 2 Honours in Construction Management from the University of Newcastle, honed his skills with some of NSW’s top commercial companies before returning to the family business. Together, we expanded Crawcon into Canberra, Sydney and Newcastle, where we specialise in bespoke luxury homes and luxury renovations.

For us, Crawcon is more than a company; it’s a legacy, a commitment to uphold the values our dad instilled in us—quality craftsmanship, trust, and hard work. As husbands and fathers, we’re motivated by the desire to create something lasting, something our family and community can be proud of.

Every project we take on is an opportunity to not just build structures but to build relationships, ensuring our clients feel valued and supported throughout their journey with us.
